About Savory Craft

We believe that cooking is more than a skill — it's a way to connect, create, and share joy. Since 2018, we've welcomed thousands of home cooks into our Portland kitchen.

From a Passion Project to Portland's Favorite Kitchen

What started as a small supper club in co-founder Elena Rossi's apartment has grown into a full-scale culinary studio in the heart of the Alphabet District. Our mission remains the same: to demystify cooking and make it accessible, social, and unforgettable.

Every class is designed around hands-on participation. You won't just watch a chef — you'll chop, knead, sauté, and plate alongside them. We source ingredients from local Oregon farms, fishermen, and artisans, ensuring every dish tells a story of the Pacific Northwest.

We host weekly public classes, private events, corporate team-building workshops, and seasonal culinary pop-ups. No matter your skill level, you'll leave with new confidence, a full stomach, and a recipe collection you'll actually use.

What We Stand For

These principles guide every class, every recipe, and every interaction in our studio.

Locally Rooted

We partner with Oregon growers and producers to bring the freshest seasonal ingredients to your cutting board.

Community First

Our kitchen table is open to everyone. We foster an inclusive, zero-judgment environment where questions are always welcome.

Skill-Building

We don't do gimmicks. Every class teaches transferable techniques you'll use long after the apron comes off.

Joyful Eating

We end every class by sharing the meal together. The best conversations happen over a plate you made yourself.

The Chefs Behind the Aprons

Our instructors bring experience from Michelin-starred kitchens, neighborhood bakeries, and culinary schools across the country.
