Booking & Reservations
How do I book a class?
You can book directly through our website on the Book Now page or by calling us at (503) 728-4916. A confirmation email will be sent instantly.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
Can I get a refund if I need to cancel?
Yes. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the class start time receive a full refund or account credit. Within 48 hours, we can offer a 50% credit or you're welcome to send someone in your place. See our full cancellation policy.
Is there a waiting list for sold-out classes?
Absolutely. If a class is full, you can join the waiting list by calling us. We'll notify you if a spot opens up.
The Class Experience
Do I need any cooking experience?
Not at all! Most of our classes are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced home cooks. The class description will indicate if any prior experience is recommended.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable, casual clothing and closed-toe shoes. Aprons are provided, but you might want to avoid loose sleeves. Long hair should be tied back.
Are ingredients and equipment provided?
Yes! Everything you need is included: fresh ingredients, professional-grade tools, and a personal workstation. Just bring yourself and a desire to learn.
Do we get to eat what we make?
Definitely. Each class ends with a communal meal where you'll enjoy the dishes you've prepared. It's often the highlight of the evening.
Can I take home leftovers?
We provide eco-friendly containers so you can bring home any leftovers. Many students also receive printed recipe cards.
Dietary & Allergy Information
Can you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Yes. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when booking. We regularly accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free requests. For severe allergies, we recommend calling us ahead of time to discuss the menu in detail.
Are your classes suitable for vegans?
Many classes can be adapted for vegans. We have specific plant-based workshops, and our chefs are skilled at modifying recipes. Just note your preference when booking.
What if I'm gluten-free?
We have gluten-free flour blends and pasta alternatives available. Please notify us at least 72 hours in advance so we can prepare the best experience for you.
Private Events & Corporate
What is the minimum group size for a private event?
Our private events require a minimum of 8 guests. For larger groups (up to 30), we can split into stations. Contact our events team for a custom proposal.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes, private events are BYOB-friendly with no corkage fee. For public classes, we offer a curated selection of wine and beer available for purchase.
How far in advance should we book a corporate event?
We recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance, especially for evening and weekend slots. However, we can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests — call us to check availability.
Gift Cards & More
Do gift cards expire?
No, Savory Craft gift cards never expire. They can be used toward any public class, private event, or merchandise.
Can I use a gift card for a private event?
Absolutely. Gift card balances can be applied to private event packages. Just mention the gift card code when booking.
Is the studio accessible?
Yes, our space is fully wheelchair accessible with no steps at the entrance and an accessible restroom. Please let us know if you require any additional accommodations.
