Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Savory Craft Culinary Studio website located at savorycraft.icu (the "Site") and the services we provide, including but not limited to cooking classes, private events, and gift card purchases (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or Services.

1. Eligibility

Our Services are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. By booking a class or using our Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. Some classes may allow participants aged 16-17 with a participating adult; please contact us for details.

2. Bookings & Payment

  • All class bookings must be made through our website, by phone, or in person.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
  • Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice, except for bookings already confirmed.
  • We accept major credit and debit cards. All transactions are processed securely via third-party payment gateways.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 48+ hours before class: Full refund or account credit.
  • Within 48 hours: 50% account credit or you may send a substitute participant.
  • No-shows: No refund or credit will be issued.

Private events and corporate bookings are subject to separate agreement terms communicated at the time of booking. See our full Cancellation Policy for more details.

4. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.
  • Gift cards never expire and can be used toward any public class, private event, or merchandise.
  • Savory Craft is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Replacement may be provided at our discretion with proof of purchase.

5. Participant Conduct & Safety

Your safety is important to us. By participating in a class, you agree to:

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by our chefs and staff.
  • Wear appropriate attire, including closed-toe shoes and tied-back long hair.
  • Inform us of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions prior to the class. We will make reasonable accommodations, but we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
  • Consume alcoholic beverages responsibly, if offered. We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any participant who appears intoxicated.

6. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Cooking inherently involves risks such as cuts, burns, slips, and allergic reactions. By participating in our classes, you voluntarily assume all such risks. Savory Craft, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property arising from participation in our Services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific class or event giving rise to the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, recipes, and class materials, is the property of Savory Craft Culinary Studio and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission. Recipes provided in class are for personal use only.

8. Website Use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including engaging in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the Site for any violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site or Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.
